Watching the girls play and love being together is so great. Lanaya and Melanie play together so well because they're so much alike in their personalities. They both love playing with little things and love books. But Olivia and Lanaya play great together also. They're into playing house right now. Setting up pillows on top of our bed and in the corner of our room, or the front room by the light. Trying to barricade Melanie out. The bed is the best because Melanie can't get up there on her own yet and doesn't know to push the stool over to help her up yet. Watching them all sit on the black office chair spinning around is so cute. They giggle and laugh so hard together. Olivia was spinning them on mom's chair today kicking out her leg every time she pushed. Again Olivia! Again! Faster!... So cute.

The comments that I get every time I go out are great. Kinda getting old. I'm needing to come up to a better response to them than, I just do it, and yep, got my boy...but love girls! I do love Hearing how beautiful my family is. Because I know it. They are my heart and soul and I made them.. And they are all so beautiful.

Lanaya had a full on conversation through the screen door with the heating and air guy. It was awesome. She was asking him questions and making conversation. What's your name.where do you live. Escondido! Oh, there's a spider by you.. He said uh-o. She responded with... What did you say uh-o? Be careful up there! Are you going home? Why. Then when he was really leaving she said, have fun in Escondido.. She was SO DANG CUTE!

Logan is changing and growing so much. The 12 week mark is magical. Yes it is.  He's not doing the screaming thing anymore. Yay! And not spitting up as much either. Still not sleeping through the night yet :/

Olivia started her first tumbling class last Friday and had a hard time She has anxiety and her shyness. She was crying and saying she's going to miss me.. And didn't want to go in. And she was even acting like she didn't want to go this morning. But when she got there, she ran right in. I was so so happy. She had a blast today.

We then went to mom and dad's house. The intent was to wash cars but I'm pretty sure I had already decided that I wasn't going to wash the car but go get it done because it just takes so much time. And my body hurts for days afterwards. Tracey and Amy both had the same idea but Tracey was the only one that worked on her car. Took her about 2 hours to do the inside of her van. We all just played. Mom had both pools out and then did shaved ice for all the kids. It was so much fun. Lanaya hot stung by something on her foot but didn't phase her much, she's such a tough little one. Love her!

Saturday the 5th Quincy Arnold was baptized and then we went over to their house for swimming and tacos. We were one of the first ones there and so we got our girls in their suits and naturally they were the first ones in the pool :) Olivia was excited to play with Nala their youngest of their labs. She remembers playing with her. So she was in the pool playing with her right away. Nala had dropped the ball into the pool and Olivia went down to get it. She dove down to the bottom of their pool (the deep end) I later asked McCall how deep their pool was. 12feet deep! Holt Moly! Yep she is a Mermaid! And as we were leaving Brian commented how impressed he was with her swimming. That he saw her dive for something, on her way up and then saw something else on the bottom of the pool and turned and went back down to get it without coming up for a breath. Ya. She has an unnatural talent of swimming I think. I know it wasn't just me teaching her to swim. This is one of her talents. Definitely. I had set it up to have Keira over for me to do her hair a second time and had totally forgotten about it until we were on our way home and Brian mentions... Didnt you have Keira coming over? Ahhh!! I quickly look at my phone and she had called twice and texted me too. Luckily she just went to petersons to kill time :) she brought a friend over with her. His name was Matt and he was Polynesian. Cute guy. And wasn't sure if he was just a friend or what but that didn't matter. We hung out and had a great time together. Somehow the way she spelled her name came up in conversation and Matt admitted that he didn't actually know how to spell her name correctly. She then blurted out really! EI! and then Brian said ei ei o! Oh no! We all started laughing so hard. Ei ei o and on Keira farm she has a.... And then Matt holds up the old Mc Donald toy I had out that needed batteries replaced. And we were all rollin. I was crying. So so funny! Nope we will never forget how to spell Keiras name.

Lanaya turned 3! Time flew. It's so interesting to watch how much they change I  the last couple months before their birthday. It's like a switch is going on inside them and all of a sudden they are saying and doing things they weren't just a few weeks before. Her birthday happened to land on labor day this year, so daddy was home from  work. That was nice. We started the morning off with balloons in her crib and then off to get doughnuts. I wanted Savoy, but after getting cash and driving over there, they took the liberty of closing for the holiday :/ I was really bummed. But oh well. Petersons it is. Then we all got ready for chuck e cheese! Grandma and Steve were going to meet us there as soon as they opened. We get into the car and Brian reaches down into the car door and says were is my wallet? What? I don't know... He says I left it here in the door.. Not I didn't move it. Then he goes up stairs and looks and comes back down. I know I left it here in the car. We need to go retrace everywhere you went this morning.. Then it dawns on me. Our car had been broken into the night before. I had walked up to the car and noticed that the drivers dude door wasn't closed all the way and I thought... Great. The car wasn't locked all night. Didn't think anything of it. Then the stuff from the glove box was out... Just  thought Brian had been looking for something. Didn't think anything of it. It just  isn't my first thing to think of. .. The worst thing to happen that is. .. No alarms went off in my simple mommy brain I guess...and I guess that should change for me to be better aware of things and to protect my family. But it didn't. And it wasn't like Brian to leave his wallet in the car like that. And the one time he does... It gets stolen :( he reverses the car and parks it all irritated at me. And doesn't understand how I didn't realize what had happened. But to be quite honest. If he hadn't left his wallet in the car I really wouldn't have known. I had put everything back into the glove box and that was that. The girls didn't understand what was going on. All frustrated with us getting out of the car. We filed a police report online, put a stop on his card, and then got back into the car and went to Chuck E Cheese. Mom ended up meeting us there. That was a nice surprise. We had a lot of fun playing with the girls. Logan did his. . I'm going to refuse to eat thing. So he just didn't eat. I'm still trying to figure this baby out. So he went 6 hours between feeding.! We then went home for a nap for Melanie because Lanaya refused to take one. . She is in between the nap stage right now. Sometimes she'll take one and sometimes she won't. But when she doesn't Shea a wreck when  it's close to bed time. Hate it. But it is a process. And I get it. We then went swimming and she wanted spaghetti for dinner. But she was so tired and cranky she has such a pill during dinner time. But she is my precious Lanaya. Love her. Can't believe she's 3.and Facebook does that looking back thing. Pictures from last year's birthday, sweet Lanaya was wearing the same suit last year. I remember it was a little big. And is fitter her better now. But she is itty bitty :) like her Grammy.

Olivia has picked up the love of coloring in this past week. It's so cute. Without me saying Olivia why don't you go color for a bit.. She went over sat in front of the fan got out the hello kitty coloring book, the colored pencils and started to color. For an hour! And it was so good! Crazy! And then proceeded to do another and then take a few pencils with her into the car with the my little pony coloring book and do a page in that one too. I then gave her the big set of pencils, crayons, and markers that Lindsay and Nick got them for Christmas. You should have seen her face! She was so excited. So thankful. So cute! And she was been coloring everyday. It's wonderful to see her doing that. She loves it.

Uncle Peter was in town and wanted to take us out for dinner. With out the kids this time. But he still wanted to see them. :) so he came over and said hi. Lanaya ran up to him saying UNCLE PETER!! and gave him the biggest hug. Adorable. All on her own. Mom and dad came over to watch the girls and Peter took us to the Brig. Yumm! It was a great night out. Mom left their gifts for Lanaya because she didn't want to open then just yet..... And that was the case for the next 2 days. I finally had her open then Sunday night before bed. She loved them. It was so cute to see her face light up every book she opened.

Saturday was Lanayas birthday. We started it at 10am and even though it was a cooler day that the rest of the week had been it was still a warm 80° bright and early. It was fun. We had a lot of people here for the first couple hours and then everyone either had another party to go to, nap time, or something else.. But we stayed in the pool. Tracey didn't show up till almost noon and everyone left about then.. So we hung out. I knew sure the was still coming so we just stayed in the pool. And then our neighbors came in later. It was nice to do something so low key and not stress over little details. And to just play and have a good time together.... Not that you don't do that have you plan a nifty fanshy shanshy party.. Just it was nice. And cheap ;)

Monday morning Lanaya was playing as Brian and I were finishing getting ready and we here her call out Christine....  Christine... I just giggled and we start to pay attention to what is going on. And she is playing with Melanie and she is Christine... Haha so funny!

Lanaya I swear has a lot of grandpa in her. She is super spunky and it was a day or 2 before his birthday and she tells me she wants to mix her 2 cereals together, it just made me smile and say to myself... Grandpa would be so proud :) she requested it again this morning. Cute girl!

On Friday we met up with Suzette, Leilani, and Jax at a new Park to me. Alga Norte in Carlsbad. So nice. On our way there were fire fighters out on the corner with a boot asking for donations. The light turned green on me too fast for getting anything to them. On the way so I said we would get them on the way home if they were still there. We'll they were and I emptied my change in the boot. The girls were ecstatic. And Olivia proceeded to say she wants to be a fire fighter! OK! That sounds great Olivia! Oh mommy.. I'm a medium fire fighter and Lanaya is a small fire fighter... Then it changed to I'm a pink medium one and Lanaya is a small one. Then it changed to mommy I'm a medium pink sparkly fire fighter and Lanaya is a small one. So dang cute.
It was a lot of fun meeting up with Suzette. Still trying to feel her out. But I'm thinking we'll be good friends for a long time.

Quincy was baptized yesterday and it was a beautiful baptism. Lanaya was so cute, the last one to come back from the don't. And almost in tears said I want to be baptized. Sweet thing. You will. Then we all went o their house for yummy tacos and swimming. Of course the girls were the first to jump in. Olivia went down to the bottom of the pool 12 feet! Brian Arnold was so impressed with Olivias swimming. He said he saw her swimming going up for air but then saw the ball on the bottom of the pool and without going up for air turned and got the ball then went up. Yep that's my Mermaid.

Today was a hard one... Exhausting and very trying on me. All 4 crying at once. I almost lost it. Logan really was hard. Refusing to feed... Pretty sure it's because I had cabbage. I can't think of anything else it would be. So I'm about to try to fees him for the last time here in a min. We will see.
Logan is so adorable! He's a face toucher just like Melanie. He did his refusing to eat and just cry and scream thing for mom and dad to see.. I think that mom believed me but thought that maybe I was being over dramatic or making it seem worse than it actually was... Well she got to see it first hand when we were leaving from their house Sunday night. Both mom and dad were concerned and kept trying to console him.. I had to explain to them.. It's not going to work. He's just going to scream. It had been so hard with him. He's so sensitive to what I eat or drink. Pretty sure he was freaking out because I had had coffee. He does not like it when I have any sort of caffeine :/ but it's ok. Keeps me eating and drinking better... Right ;)  but he's by far my baby that cries the most and needs to be held the most.. And he's not sleeping through the night yet either.. Just been blessed with super easy babies so far I guess.. But having him now and I have 3 other children that I need to focus on as well has proved to be very difficult. And I did have a breakdown at the beginning, feeling inadequate and just not up to the task. It's getting better every day that comes and goes. It's all about perspective, attitude, and routine.
So, everyone got home Saturday evening from Alaska. I'm taking dinner to Wendy a sister in the ward that has just lost her mother a few days ago. I'm making teriyaki chicken and had the thought that I should make my family dinner also being coming home to an empty fridge on Sunday. So lined all that up and It worked out great. Both Tracey and I were the only 2 that couldn't make it on the cruise and we were the ones there on Sunday bringing them dinner... Well Tracey made rice and brought cucumbers and tomatoes for the salad.... And yep, we were waiting on them to get there. So lame, so frustrating. I wish they would get their act together and show up on time. Well it was the 2 of us that didn't go so mom and dad showed us pictures of the cruise. It was a lot of fun.
Today was a low key day, another 100° day.. So hot! Brian  went to help set up chairs for stake conference first thing in the morning. It was so nice that the girls didn't ask to watch something first thing. Even when I say no every morning... They always ask. Not today. They just played and played. I made breakfast and Olivia was sitting at the table drawing and coloring in the book she got from chick fil a the other day. It's so cute to see her so focused. But she is so disappointed and frustrated when she doesn't do something exactly right or how she wanted to. I'm trying to help her realize that it's ok and that she can make even a mistake something great and maybe even better than what you initially intended to do. Then we started Mary Poppins and just a little bit into it daddy came home. They all run to see daddy.. They love him so much. And he came home with doughnuts! Did a few chores and then Brian took Olivia and Lanaya down to the pool. He is such a great father for his girls. He plays with them so well. I took Logan and we went shopping. Then Brian and I switched at the pool. Yes, we have a beautiful family. And my girls are very well behaved. And they're great swimmers. All things I hear constantly, but I will admit, I love it. I know I have no idea what I'm doing and I go day to day and that I can be doing a lot better but it always makes me feel good inside knowing that I'm doing something a little right. Then I went to the adult session for stake conference. First talk was by sister Knowlton about motherhood. It was such a great talk! Helped me remember that I need to be closer to the spirit so I can listen and follow it. God gave the female his power to reproduce. We are in a partnership with him, he will always be there for us.
Then a wonderful talk about keeping the Sabbath  day holy and making it a delight. Both were talks that I needed to hear. I've been trying to figure out something like a Sunday tradition for our family to do. A way for us to have fun together and still keep the Sabbath day holy.
